A New Exhibitor Briefing will be held during this Show. The briefing location &
time will be posted in the Judging Program. Spectators are welcome to attend.
The briefing will tour you through the show grounds and explain the duties of the superintendent, AKC Field Staff, the event committee(s), ring steward, ring location(s), exercise area, grooming space and public education materials. As well as an explaination of dog show classes, points computation and verification of placements (judges book tear sheets).

Best Puppy in Show Competition

For Puppy Dogs and Bitches ~ 6 & under 9 months and 9 & under 12 months
This AKC approved event allows the puppy class winner in each breed to be judged immediately
following Best of Breed to determine Best Puppy for that breed. An entry in the puppy class
that is awarded Best of Breed or Best of Winners would automatically be Best Puppy for that
breed. The Best of Breed Puppy Winners will compete in their respective group for First through
Fourth place. Best Puppy in Show will be selected from the seven group winners.
